I always try to take a photo of the 13th hole , especially when I play a course I have never played before , anywhere in the world. I send it to Debbie Waitkus who was a close friend of Marilynn Smith, one of the 13 original founders of the LPGA. Debbie heads up Golf It Forward, which advances the important goals of the Marilynn Smith Foundation. Among other things, they raise money to award scholarships to young women who did not have access to college in Marilynn’s day. This is the scorecard from Point Hardy on St. Lucia. They come and go so it isn’t easy to get a clear photograph so apologies this is not magazine quality! Best to go see the incredible festive scenes and animated displays yourselves if you can. Lace up your skates! There is even a 6,000 square foot outdoor ice rink with real ice!
